ROWAN’S LAW DAY

ROWAN’S LAW DAY

The last Wednesday of each September is Rowan’s Law Day (#RowansLawDay).  On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, schools across Ontario recognize this law by educating and engaging students and staff in activities that increase awareness about concussions and to share Rowan Stringer’s story.

In 2018, Rowan’s Law was passed in Ontario in honour of Rowan Stringer. Rowan died while playing high school rugby because she got multiple head injuries over a series of 6 days.  Schools will take this opportunity to teach about and discuss head injuries and concussions.
