Ontario has designated the third Sunday of November as Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week to promote safe schools and a positive learning environment. This year it will be recognized from November 20 to 26, 2022.
The York Catholic District School Board believes that safe, caring and inclusive Catholic schools and school communities create and maintain healthy learning/working environments. Guided by Gospel Values and Catholic Virtues, we remain centered in Christ’s message of inclusion and treating one another with care and respect. Our students will be focusing on Bullying Awareness and Prevention this week through focused lessons and discussion, as well as activities that ignite their understanding of bullying and ways it can be prevented.
