On Tuesday, November 22, our Grade 8 students will walk to St. Jean de Brebeuf to visit the school.  While there, they will meet staff and students, take a tour of the school, and learn about their programs and clubs/committees.  Have fun!

The St. Clare of Assisi Parish Reach Out Group is currently organizing an Advent/Christmas Gift Card Drive.  St. Michael the Archangel CES is proud to  support this initiative. Their goal is to collect Gift Cards during the Season of Advent to support The Vaughan Food Bank, The Sisters of Charity, The Sisters of Life, as well as other women’s shelters and organizations. Ontario has designated the third Sunday of November as Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week to promote safe schools and a positive learning environment.  This year it will be recognized from November 20 to 26, 2022. November 11th is Remembrance Day in Canada, also known as Armistice Day and “poppy day” around the world. It’s our annual reminder of significant sacrifices made in the past that have led to current freedoms. It’s observed on this date to commemorate the end of World War I, which officially took place on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918.
