ST. CLARE OF ASSISI GIFT CARD DRIVE

The St. Clare of Assisi Parish Reach Out Group is currently organizing an Advent/Christmas Gift Card Drive.  St. Michael the Archangel CES is proud to  support this initiative. Their goal is to collect Gift Cards during the Season of Advent to support The Vaughan Food Bank, The Sisters of Charity, The Sisters of Life, as well as other women’s shelters and organizations. Earlier today CUPE served notice that they could resume their job action as soon as Monday, November 21, 2022.

REMEMBRANCE DAY LITURGY

November 11th is Remembrance Day in Canada, also known as Armistice Day and “poppy day” around the world. It’s our annual reminder of significant sacrifices made in the past that have led to current freedoms. It’s observed on this date to commemorate the end of World War I, which officially took place on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918.
