REMEMBRANCE DAY LITURGY

November 11th is Remembrance Day in Canada, also known as Armistice Day and “poppy day” around the world. It’s our annual reminder of significant sacrifices made in the past that have led to current freedoms. It’s observed on this date to commemorate the end of World War I, which officially took place on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918. 

HALLOWEEN DANCE-A-THON FUNDRAISER

A big congratulations and thank you to our families for supporting our Halloween Dance-a-Thon Fundraiser.  Thanks to your efforts, we raised just over $13, 800.  We look forward to supplementing our STREAM Lab and Library resources as well as outdoor play equipment. Dear Families of York Catholic District School Board,

The situation with provincial bargaining remains fluid, but we want our families to have enough time to plan for alternative childcare arrangements for tomorrow. For that reason, and for the health, safety and well-being of our students and staff, York Catholic DSB schools will be closed to students on Friday, November 4.
