HUMANITARIAN RELIEF FOR TURKEY AND SYRIA

Schools throughout the York Catholic DSB are coming to the assistance of those who were affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. JOYEUX CARNAVAL!

St. Michael the Archangel will be celebrating Carnaval week this year on February 13-17, 2023. Throughout the week, students are encouraged to show their Carnaval spirit by dressing up according to the different theme days outlined in the infographic below. FATHER ANDRE VISITS GRADE 7s AND 2s

On Friday, the Grade 7 students had a chance to meet with parish priest, Father Andre, to discuss Confirmation. Students discussed the holy spirit, especially the divine way that it strengthens the gifts we received at Baptism.  Students were urged to continue to pray and speak of God’s word with boldness as they prepare their hearts and minds for Confirmation.
