Wednesday, October 19 is Picture Day. Students are required to come dressed in their school uniform. If your child is absent on this day, there will be a Picture Retake Day in the new year. Bring your biggest smile!

On Monday, October 17, students from Grades 4-8 will be traveling to Bruce’s Mill to participate in the Cross Country Meet. They have been working hard to practice their long-distance running and we wish them all the best. Remember to dress for the weather, as the race will take place, rain or shine. Go Warriors!!

York Region Public Health (YRPH) is offering immunizations for hepatitis B, human papillomavirus (HPV) and meningococcal disease at no cost to Grade 7 & 8 students. We are happy to announce that on Monday, October 31 we will be holding a Halloween Dance-a-Thon Fundraiser. Information packages were sent home in hard copy on Friday, October 7 with the youngest in each family. On Friday, October 14, we will be joined by Father Andre from St. Clare of Assisi Church to celebrate a mass of thanksgiving. This will take place in the gym at 9:45 am and parents/guardians are welcome to attend.
